A Rust trio server where the team limit is actually enforced
A Rust trio server is only as good as its enforcement. A team limit that exists on paper but not on the map just means the biggest group still wins. On Atak 1x the limit is three, and it is checked continuously.
Solos and duos play on the same map, so whether you come alone, with one friend or with two, you never face a group larger than three.
What the limit of three covers
The limit applies to everyone who is actually playing together, not just to the people in your in-game team. Forming alliances, raiding together with another group, sharing a base or loot, and giving turret or door authorization to players outside your team are all against the rules.
In practice that means you cannot get around the cap by keeping two teams of three and simply never shooting each other. If you play together, you count together.
How teaming is detected
An anti-teaming system keeps track of code locks, tool cupboards, turrets, sleeping bags, revives, vehicles and how much time players spend near each other. Those records are then reviewed by staff, so a decision is made by a person looking at the evidence rather than by a single automatic flag.
If you suspect a group is over the limit, report it in game with F7. Staff are usually active from 10:00 to 24:00 Turkey time, and the support assistant on the site takes reports at any hour.
Why trio works well on a vanilla server
On 1x rates, three people can split roles comfortably: one farms, one builds and one roams for scrap and components. You can hold a decent base without a huge roof camp, and a raid is still a real investment rather than a routine.
Your team's work also shows up in Atak Rank and on the wipe page, where the highlights cover kills, K/D, raids, gathering, building and playtime. At the end of the season, the top ten players earn VIP or Premium time and a permanent title.
